The Titans lost. 13-10 That game was a nail-biter but all thanks to Jeff Reed out of North Carolina (above) . Troy Polamalu got injured. He tried to pick up a fumble (loose ball) and some one just slipped on him. I saw the whole thing. Troy Polamalu’s legs went into split position. This was not a good day for him. Polamalu is injured for 3-6 weeks. Even though the Steelers won the game they lose one of their greatest players for 3-6 weeks.

This was an amazing event that we took part in. It was about the class using all of their writing to make in a book. This was my first time. We used a thing called the book binder. It looks sort of like this…    

My book is finished . We have a couple autograph pages for our friends and teachers. I will get all my friends, classmates, and teachers to sign. Especially Mrs. Tann and Ms. Lenahan. I have like 4-6 pictures in my book so far. I used alot of my writing and printed it, so I can put it in my book. My book looks great.

My class hatched a Green Darner. He is huge! Our Green Darner is bigger than 2in, I believe. We found him on the window. Ms. Lenahan couldn’t find him on the at all. She started to get worried. The Green Darner’s wings are kind of yellow. His/Her body color is green. Our Green Darner is huge. A couple facts are another name for nymph is Naiad. It’s also nicknamed Mosquito Hawk. They have a 360 degree view of vision. The species is Anax Junius. Our Green Darner will hopefully be let free later on. Our dragonfly is the biggest in North America!

My caterpillar is now in a pupa. Yesterday, he was in a J and I missed it! When his/her life began it was in a tiny egg and now it’s in a chrysalis(another word for pupa). Our caterpillar has made a huge change. I think he’ll emerge in 3 weeks. My caterpillar is in it’s chrysalis.

My class is hatching some Praying Mantises. It is so cool! I believe there is about 50-150 in the container. I believe that they came out in fives! It looks like there are thousands because they are so small. The praying mantis is named for its prominent front legs, which are bent and held together at an angle that suggests the position of prayer. Females regularly lay hundreds of eggs in a small case, and nymphs hatch looking much like tiny versions of their parents. Praying Mantises can turn their heads 180 degrees to scan their surrounding.

The movie I’d like to see is Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian. Here is a picture…

Also, The Minis. It’s about how a basketball team comes together in the end to win something big…

If we are allowed to I’d like to see Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. This movie was funny. Don’t get your hopes up because we probably won’t see it.

Next would be Dr. Dolittle Million Dollar Mutts. My mom said it’s very funny. Here is a picture to recognize it…

On Wednesday May 27, 2009 I was going on a plane. First, we drove to Philadelphia. Then we parked in the shuttle bus parking area. The shuttle bus took us to the huge airport. No wonder Philadelphia’s airport is a national one! When we got at the airport, security guards started patting me down. As soon as we started to sit down our flight got delayed for an hr and I was hungry. I got Dunkin’ Donuts. Finally, we got on the plane…. For 2 1/2 hrs!! They only gave us about a 2in bag of pretzels and juice or soda of our choice. We landed. My Uncle Junior picked us up from the airport.

The next day, my aunt woke us up at 6:30 am. We were angry. She told us to clean up her house and then she even left. I said I wasn’t cleaning anything and I didn’t. 4-5 hrs later, we went to eat. Finally I was able to eat. We went to IHOP. I had 4 triangle french toasts. Then, we shopped at WalMart for about an hour. Then we stayed in WalMart for another two hours. My cousin had to take graduation pictures. After 1 hour my oldest cousin showed up. I became enthusiastic. I started talking to him forever.

 We had spent the night over my aunts house. When we left I said bye to every one. They didn’t want us to leave. We got on our Air- Tran plane. We got in Philadelphia at 8:26. We didn’t get home until 10:01. Which is an hour and 35 min. difference. When I got home I forgot to do one part of my Social Studies. I had finished it and started playing my game. I called my aunt and told her I was home.
